Susan Cromwell shares her perception of the world through photography
Susan Cromwell (BSc 2003 Woodsworth) enjoys cityscape and images of urban life. She explores the city through a camera lens, shooting everything from buildings and people to street art and wildlife. She took this picture in Toronto’s Little Italy in February on the way home from work.

Cromwell spotted a pair of vibrant red shoes against the pale grey sidewalk, and decided to take the picture exactly the way it first appeared to her – from the corner of her eye. “I photograph and edit my images so that my perception of everything comes through,” says Cromwell. “It lets me express the world as I see it.”
