Artist Charles Pachter (BA 1964 UC) has donated a two-ton moose sculpture to U of T’s newest residence, Graduate House, which opened last fall. Moose Demeanour is in the residence’s courtyard in the reflecting pool. “I can picture students there, dangling their feet in the water, gazing at the moon,” says Pachter. “The moose represents a little piece of Canada. It is a poetical reminder of the country we’re in.”
