Remembering Hiles Carter Read More

Hiles Carter (BA 1934 UC, MA 1940, BPaed 1943, BEd 1972), a highly regarded Senior Alumni Association volunteer, passed away in December. Carter was a member of Alumni Talent Unlimited (ATU), a subcommittee of the Senior Alumni Association, from 1976 to 1991. He and his wife, Mary (who predeceased him in 1993), led campus tours and served as alternating co-chairs of ATU for several years. In 1997, Carter received an Arbor Award.
