Governing Council has voted to eliminate the three-year undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Starting in the 2001-2002 academic year, students at the St. George campus will no longer be able to enrol in a 15-credit program. The decision was made to ensure the integrity of a U of T degree. A 20-credit degree is internationally recognized and ensures an educational experience that is rigorous in depth and breadth, says Dean Carl Amrhein of the Faculty of Arts and Science.
