To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Awards, former Cressy winners and this year’s nominees attended a reunion reception on April 2 at Hart House. Established by the U of T Alumni Association and the division of university advancement, the awards recognize graduating students for their contributions to campus life. Taban Nabi, who attended the University of Toronto at Mississauga (UTM), was one of the 144 students honoured this year. Nabi was station manager of the UTM radio station VIBE and a member of the South Asian Alliance Club.“I know the valuable skills and experiences I have acquired are priceless in terms of preparing me for the future,” she says.
