At the retirement last fall of Professor Emeritus James Fleck of the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, family members, colleagues and friends were motivated to make generous donations in honour of his philanthropy. Close to 50 people gave more than $20,000, which was matched by Fleck and the university for a total of more than $60,000. The gift will fund the James D. Fleck Student Entrance Award for MBA students with a background in the voluntary sector.
